About Us

The Grampian Model Railroaders are a Stawell based model train club that was formed in 1996, we have over 30 members. People from anywhere are welcome to apply to join the club. We meet every Thursday night at 7.30pm in our temporary club rooms at 14 Cooper St, Stawell or at the Goods Shed. Visits are more than welcome to come along and see what we do.

The Grampian Model Railroaders have held a model train exhibition each year in July since 1999 covering more than 1000 square meters it is well worth a look with more that 20 layout from the very small to the very large. You can also buy most things you will need for your very own layout at the exhibition.

The Grampian Model Railroaders exhibit layouts at exhibitions across Victoria and South Australia, with the club layout not on the road, we exhibit our members layouts along with the Mount Ash which is owned by the club. In the next year we hope to have three more layouts on the exhibition scene.
